I am quickly finding out that these 1 year cake smash pictures are my favorite to take. There is just something about watching a child dig into their first birthday cake. With the last cake smash, the little guy dug right in and tore the cake apart in seconds. But Asher was a lot more thoughtful about his cake. He would only take little tastes of the frosting until finally mom and dad convinced him that he wanted to eat more! We were also able to take some other pictures of him before he made a mess in his cake. Happy first birthday, Asher!

You will probably remember Finn from his 1 year cake smash not long ago. I was so happy to be able to capture him along with his 2 older sisters this time! We had a fun time playing in their backyard, and although Finn wasn’t much into the photo taking after the first few minutes, Sydney and Kirra gave me their best smiles!

And I do have to apologize for how quiet it has been around here lately. There has been a job lost, a new job gained, and sickness all around our household that has kept me pretty occupied. But I do have a few sessions to post about, so look forward to a new post or two this week.
