I’m so excited for my first Cutest Kid Contest!!
And just as a reminder, here is what’s at stake:
First Prize:
* Free Photo session for the winning child(ren)
* Disk of 10 images from your session with a print release
* 2 5×7 prints
Second Prize:
* $100 Gift Certificate to be used on any future session or prints with me
Here are the rules:
You can vote TWO times per day (once in the poll AND once on Facebook)
* 1 vote per IP address PER DAY in the poll on this post (below the photos).
- Only votes within the Poll and on Facebook will count. Votes through the comment section will not be counted.
- You must wait 24 hours after your vote to vote again.
* 1 vote per person PER DAY on the Facebook Fan Page.

Rylan just turned 4 years old! And if there is one thing that I learned about 4 year olds from this session is that they like to look everywhere but at the camera! But we had fun, and ended up with some great shots.

This is the reason I love photographing seniors – they are so easy and natural in front of the camera! Melani is gorgeous and we had a fun time together. When we started out, it was so windy that we didn’t know if we’d be able to continue. But luckily, after a location change, the wind was manageable and we were able to get some great pictures.
If you are a 2010 senior and you haven’t had your senior pictures taken yet, it’s not too late! And if you will be graduation in 2011, I’m looking for Senior Representatives. It’s a great way to get a free photoshoot and earn some great things along the way. Contact me for more information!

You might recognize this little beauty from her newborn photos not too long ago. I am so happy that I’m going to be able to take her pictures through her first year of life! I’m always amazed at how fast babies grow and change in their first year. Lily was so fun to photograph, and now I can’t wait until she turns 6 months so I get to take some more!

- Send ONE favorite photo of your child(ren), any past or current photo will do, anytime between today (March 18th) and Friday, March 26th to our email deborahharrounphotography@gmail.com **If you have mulitple children, you can either submit a photo of them together, or separately, but you can only vote on one photo per day.
- Please add the following information to your submission email…(this information WILL NOT be included in the postings of your pictures! This is just information for us to use to contact you if you win and to send you special deals on your child(rens) birthdays!)

- We’ll have two methods of voting each day:
- The first will be here on the blog, where we’ll upload the photos with an assigned number and voting poll within the post and you and your friends and family can vote once each day.

- Send EVERYONE you know to our Facebook page and blog to vote!
- Voting will begin on Wednesday, March 31st and will run through April 7th, so that gives you a full WEEK to get everyone voting for your cutie!
- The fine print – please do not send in any professional photographs. The winning session must take place by December 31, 2010. Your child(ren) must be between the ages of 0-18 as of April 7th, 2010.

I posted Abbi’s official 1 year photos already, but I couldn’t skip over her cake smash session! She is such a good eater that I thought she’d just dive into her cake, but she was very cautious. I should have assumed she wouldn’t jump in because she is all girl and hates to have messy hands. But she did enjoy eating the cake, and now every time she sees cake, she wants some!

This family is what I would call a photographer’s dream to photograph. Super cute, easy going, and so happy! The biggest thing I was drawn to as I was going through their photos were the real, genuine smiles and the laughing faces. I think that’s when you really capture someone’s personality, and those are always my favorite kinds of photos!
Brent, Lacey and Jace won this photo session as a giveaway I did on my Facebook page. Which means that if you aren’t a fan, you need to become one right away! We’ll be doing more giveaways soon!
