Ok, before you turn away and think that this contest is not for you – hear me out first!!
I had the honor of taking some photos for my mom and dad not too long ago. And I got quite emotional while going through them and editing, and I was so happy to be able to give these to my parents. Why? Because they never have any pictures of the two of them together. Then I started thinking – really the only time a couple gets professional pictures done is when they have engagement photos and wedding photos. I think it’s pretty uncommon to get them any other time. I always try to do a few photos of the mom and dad alone whenever I do a family session, so I thought – I want to offer up a couples session to win! Wouldn’t that make a great date night – heading out with your spouse to get some portraits done of just the two of you?!
I wanted to make sure that I could include everyone on this, so I’m not limiting this to just husband and wife. It can be husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend, best friends – as long as there are two of you, that’s all that matters! And please don’t get shy. I know I hate being in front of the camera, but this will be a great thing for all of your posterity to see! Or maybe you want a session for your parents – enter them in!
What will we be giving away? There will be TWO great prizes for this contest!
First Prize:

Here’s how our contest will work and how you can enter:
- Send ONE favorite photo of two people, any past or current photo will do, anytime between today (April 30th) and Thursday , May 6th to our email deborahharrounphotography@gmail.com
- Please add the following information to your submission email (this information WILL NOT be included in the postings of your pictures! This is just information for us to use to contact you if you win and to send you special deals!)

- We’ll have two methods of voting each day:
- The first will be here on the blog, where we’ll upload the photos with an assigned number and voting poll within the post and you and your friends and family can vote once each day.
- The second way will be on our Facebook Page, where you can vote once a day by commenting on the photo of your choice. Your comment can be as simple as “This is my vote!”. Please note – you must LIKE Deborah Harroun Photography on Facebook before you can vote!
- Send EVERYONE you know to our Facebook page and blog to vote!
- Voting will begin on Monday, May 10th and will run through May 17th, so that gives you a full WEEK to get everyone voting for your photo!
- The fine print – please do not send in any professional photographs. The winning session must take place by August 1, 2010. The session must take place in Utah or Salt Lake Counties.

These girls are just too cute!! And so full of personality. Amme was quite the model – always posing perfectly for the camera. Asher loved to make silly faces, and didn’t like looking at the camera, but we still had fun with her! And little Austen is just too cute for words. I love these girls!

These are probably my favorite pictures to date, and the dearest to my heart – for a good reason. These are my parents. I can’t even tell you in words how much I love these two and how much I look up to them. My parents are true roll models for me. I can only pray that when I have been married as long as they have been, that I am just as happy and in love!

It is no secret that I am a lover of food – especially sweets. And some of you may know that I have another little venture – a little food blog called Taste and Tell – that I’ve been operating for the last 3 years. In fact, just last week, I had my 3rd blog “birthday”. And to celebrate, I made these cupcakes.
I love photographing food, although I find it very challenging. But sometimes, the light you get is just perfect and everything comes out looking just how you want it to. But the best part is sharing all of the wonderful recipes. It’s amazing how many people out there in internet-land really love food as much as I do!!

I actually photographed this little newborn a couple of months ago, but for some reason, I just realized I never blogged about him! Atticus was such a good little baby, although he just didn’t want to fall asleep for me. But he took some pretty cute awake pictures!
